For today, cats of prey are announced. But it will probably be less of a safari, and more of a lunch with a few cats - more is just not possible in this heat... Surprisingly, the small game park is a real green oasis. Even ducks and geese cavort in the small lake. For the fact that there are constantly bush fires due to the extreme heat and drought in the surrounding area, the owners of Spiers Farm seem to be almost wasteful with the precious water. We enjoy the surroundings slowly strolling. As expected, the only Cheeta cat was sleeping in the midday sun. The owls also moved their heads, very slowly: more like poorly animated movie props with minimal mechanics.
The 'Moyo' (tent and garden restaurant in the park) is said to be known for good food and animations in the evening: Fires burn in the barrels then and music is played. We leave the beautiful garden landscape totally relaxed, but already hungry again. But the cool Savannas on the next wine farm are already waiting for us: Coool! Once again we drive past the characteristic 'Simons Hill': It is said that it got its name from its shape of a sleeping man (Simon). With a little imagination we could recognize the head on the right, the hands in the middle and the toes on the left.
