I can hardly wait to get to 'Langenbaan'. The guesthouse and the kite and surf lessons are reserved and the strong wind is on our side this time. Costas drive us there for lunch and a walk on the beach. The Langebaaner beach is worth it anyway. But first we have to survive the two hours drive. At least, we see zebras on the way - Fredi drives overland but with 'änere Nadlä vierzg' so fast past it, so that I missed far. Corinne with her new camera (an early birthday present) caught the last zebra, which looks a little aside our bright gold flash.
And really, Langebaan is a small, hearty, even on tourist Sunday sleepy town on a beautiful, sheltered bay (Saldana Bay). Touristically still hardly developed, it is considered among kite- and windsurfers as an insider tip. And really we meet some with sails and high speed. We watch the sporty goings-on from the terrace of the well-known Pearly's Restaurant. Afterwards, a beach digestion walk is due again.
We inquire in the local sports store about our lessons and the guesthouse - as it turns out to our great surprise, the young guy behind the counter speaks fluent Swiss German - because Savogniner: The sports store is also run by a Swiss couple. We take care of the administration and are accompanied to our guesthouse, which is located less than a hundred meters away from the sports store and the sea.
The 'Puza Moya' is picturesquely whitewashed in white-blue and very inviting: ideal for four days of sport. Again we meet Europeans: four young Swiss, two English and two Austrians. The large, shared living space and the magnificent atrium promise social life in addition to the hearty, private bedrooms. Corinne makes an appointment right away for the evening party in the courtyard.
We take another 10 minutes walk to eat again a little further down the beach in the fine Pearly's evening. Corinne puts on the new beautiful dress and is massively overdressed among all shorts tourists. But no matter - she and I like it. The evening is cozy and the food, especially my pizza with avocados, once again delicious. After the walk back, I barely make it to bed because I'm tired, while Corinne parties with our neighbors in front of our bedroom: Everyone brings what he just has there. Meanwhile, I sleep wonderfully.
