Sunday flights from Gummen over Braunwald

Flying
Wonderful weather in the mountains, mild temperatures at 2000m a.s.l. I was once again on the road with Stefan Vögeli, letting my soul dangle on the paraglider. To Braunwald we have not been for a long time. Had hardly any people, according to the little snow. But to us that could be only right. To the uppermost starting place Gummen ridge we did not want to fight up then nevertheless: Much too much deep snow.
Thus, the launch site directly in front of the mountain restaurant Gumen was selected. The wind direction was always from behind and the selected takeoff direction directly to the gondola cable car, but the takeoff has nevertheless worked twice wonderfully. Wonderful 20 minute glides past treetops, rock faces and waterfalls.

Braunwald: Few people, very cosy!
The Eggstöcke
The path to the Gummengrat was tackled by others. The wind pocket seen from below, just like the partial snow, did not bode well.
The one who dances with the moon.
The search for a suitable launch site directly in front of the Gumen restaurant is underway - but the wind was coming from all directions.
Opinion was divided on the ideal take-off direction. In the end, however, everyone got into the air, despite opposite runways.
