After a relaxed "arrival Saturday" at the Lake Sarnen near Sachseln and an overnight stay with super breakfast in the Engel Inn, the Brienzer Rothorn with the historic steam rack railroad was on the agenda for Sunday. Year of construction 1892! Perfect timing, departure at 11:45 after the midday rush, hardly any queueing, took a seat on the right side (left in the direction of travel!) and caught super weather with terrific visibility. What more could you wish for? Okay, maybe minus 3h traffic jam on the way there and back... but otherwise everything was perfect :-)
